Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Do you know your words have power. That’s right. You can change your world by what you confess. Praise God. Join us today as we talk more about this.

Narrator: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Why live a normal life when you could be living the abundant life? Welcome to The Abundant Life Program with Ashley and Carlie Terradez.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Hello. Welcome to Abundant Life. We’re so glad you’ve joined us today. My name is Ashley Terradez. This is my wife Carlie, and we’re in the middle of a series here. We’re talking about how to receive the power of God in your life. How to see the promises of God manifest in your life, whatever they may be. Whether it’s for healing. Whether it’s for provision. We have some peace of mind. Whatever it is, praise God. That’s what we’ve been looking at over these last few sessions. Where are we up to, Carlie? What are we looking at?

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Yeah.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Well, last time we introduced the process by which the manifestation of the promises of God follow. In every instance they follow a process of confession, creation, and manifestation. The word is spoken. The word of … Jesus is the word. Amen?

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Yeah, yeah.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
The word is powerful. That through our confession, through the confession of the promises of God, it starts a process of creation. We use last time the example of a baby. How a baby is spoken into being. How there is a nine month period of of creation.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
There’s more than just speaking in to being, in a baby. I Understand.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Yes.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
I’ve done some research on this.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
You have?

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Yeah. And there’s more than just speaking this. There’s things that have to happen.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Right.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
-when, you know, for a baby to be

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
There’s the creation phase that happens.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
A creation phase.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Creation phase, and then nine months later, or thereabouts, there is the manifestation of the baby.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
here you go.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
-right? In the flesh. The manifestation is when we see with our five senses something that was spoken out by our words, and created in the spiritual realm.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
And what we’re saying is, even though the woman might be, well, she is 100% pregnant early on, no one else can see she’s pregnant, but she knows she’s pregnant. But no one else can see that. And it’s not until the baby’s born that everyone can say, “Oh, you’re pregnant.” And sometimes, you know, I’ve made the mistake of saying to people, “Are you pregnant?” and they’re not.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Then, you’ve embarrassed yourself very bad.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
That’s very bad. I say, until you see the baby, don’t say anything. What we’re saying is that you know you’re pregnant, and you might be halfway through your pregnancy. Other people might not know you’re pregnant, but once the baby’s born, no one doubts it.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Yeah.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Now they see it. So there’s that.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Because.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Creation time is often secret.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Yep. It’s invisible. Usually, we cannot see what’s happening in the creation phase. The moment that something leaves … The moment between the word of God leaving our mouth, and manifesting in our physical world, that’s the creation phase. That’s the part that we oftentimes don’t see. There are many times when the manifestation of a promise of God in our life today has been aborted while it’s in the creation phase, because we just started getting into doubt and unbelief. We started to use our confession, because that confession will work for us. You know, positively or negatively, right? We are sowing seeds. We have life and death are in the power of our tongue. With our words, we create.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
You know the world, the world itself was created with words.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Yep. Yes. That’s how the world was created.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Right.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
God spoke. God said, “Let there be light,” and there was. What God spoke, things happen. We’re talking about you can dig up your seed if you like.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
You can.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
You put a seed in the ground, you can’t see it grow. In fact, Jesus talks about this. The farmer, he sow seeds. He doesn’t know how it works, but he rises night and day, trusting that he’s working, basically. Then, he sees a crop. The farmer.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
That’s the faith piece of it.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
The farmer … The faith piece, yeah. If that farmer went out and everyday dug that seed out to look at that seed, to see if it was working, he would kill the seed, and it would work.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
That’s right. If we took the baby out too soon from the womb, it’s not going to survive.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Our job is, by faith, to trust in the promises of God, even though we can’t see it.

Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
Exactly.

Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 3
That’s why it says in 1 Corinthians 5, it talks about we walk by faith, not by sight.

Carlie:
Yeah, absolutely. There’s a couple of scriptures in Hebrews that really sums this up nicely. If you’ve got Hebrews 1:3 there?

Ashley:
Hebrews 1:3 puts it this way, in the New King James version says, “Who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person,” he’s talking about Jesus, here. Jesus is the express image of God.

Ashley:
I heard someone put it this way, and my kids tell me off for saying this. They say, “Dad, this is very cheesy,” but if God the Father was to take a selfie, it’d looked like Jesus. [crosstalk 00:04:08].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:04:08] That’s “Chees-us”

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:04:10] That’s, that’s “Chees-us”. That’s cheesy. That’s true. If, you know, Jesus is the expressed image of God the Father, when Jesus said to Philip, “If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father.” Jesus on earth was our representation of God. Praise God. We can look to Jesus, what he did on earth- [crosstalk 00:04:23].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:04:24] -he’s- [crosstalk 00:04:24].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:04:24] knowing that that’s God’s will.

Carlie:
He’s the word become flesh.

Ashley:
He’s the word become flesh: John 1.

Carlie:
Yeah, John 1:1. And even Jesus was spoken into being [crosstalk 00:04:30].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:04:31] into being, yes- [crosstalk 00:00:04:30].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:04:31] -his birth fulfilled many prophecies, [crosstalk 00:04:33].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:04:34] Yeah. [crosstalk 00:04:33].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:04:34] -hundreds prophecies.

Ashley:
That’s right. Back to Hebrews, here, it says he’s the expressed image of this person and, “upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.” Basically again, the last part of that verse is talking about how he purged our sins. He dealt with sin, once and forever. That’s why our righteousness is through Jesus. Faith in what Jesus has already done, gives us our righteousness, and that can’t be undone.

Ashley:
So your sins past, present, and future are forgiven, through Jesus. That’s the gospel. That’s the gospel truth right there. It says, once he did that, he sat down at the Father’s right hand. He sat down, because it was done, it was finished. You only sit down if something’s complete, and Jesus had completed it at the cross.

Ashley:
But, that’s not what we’re talking about today, but that’s a great point in that verse. What we’re talking about is the middle point of this verse that says, “upholding all things by the word of his power.”

Carlie:
It doesn’t say something things- [crosstalk 00:05:26].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:05:27] All things. All things. [crosstalk 00:05:27].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:05:27] Everything.

Ashley:
The world is literally held together by God’s word. In fact, scientists … I’m not very scientific, to know all these details, but scientists say there’s this matter, right? That holds atoms together- [crosstalk 00:05:37].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:05:38] -un-huh. Dark matter- [crosstalk 00:05:38].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:05:38] -and they can’t explain it. They can’t explain what this is, but [crosstalk 00:05:40].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:05:40] It’s a force. [crosstalk 00:05:42].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:05:42] -but there’s something. [crosstalk 00:05:41].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:05:43] There is a force. [crosstalk 00:05:41].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:05:43] There is a force that holds everything together: every atom. That’s God’s word. If God was to break His word, then everything would just explode, because that’s what’s holding everything together.

Carlie:
Right.

Ashley:
God’s word holds everything together.

Carlie:
Amen. Let’s turn over here to, this is again in Hebrews, this is 11 verse 3. It says … This is the famous faith chapter, right? It says, “By faith, we understand that the universe was framed by the word of God.” If you’ve ever seen a house being built, you know they put the foundations, and they frame it out, and then they fill in the walls and the roof- [crosstalk 00:06:12].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:06:10] That’s what they do in America. [crosstalk 00:06:12].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:06:11] -in the house.

Ashley:
In England. How they build houses in England- [crosstalk 00:06:15].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:06:15] It’s a bit different. [crosstalk 00:06:16].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:06:16] They build it with bricks: real bricks. They obviously knew the nursery rhyme about the three little pigs. You know, and the Wolf and the house built with sticks and the house built with wood, is it? The house built with stone. Anyway.

Ashley:
In England, they build it with bricks, is what I’m saying. In America, they build with wood.

Carlie:
Right.

Ashley:
When we first came over to America who said you build your house with wood- [crosstalk 00:06:34].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:06:34] There is a framing process. [crosstalk 00:06:35].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:06:35] Why wouldn’t you use bricks or stone? But they used wood here. But anyway- [crosstalk 00:00:06:38].

Carlie:
Fascinating!

Ashley:
In America … For our international viewers, in America, they frame a house first before they [crosstalk 00:06:44]

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:06:44] Yes- [crosstalk 00:06:44].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:06:44] -put the finishing touches on it- [crosstalk 00:06:45].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:06:45] And here it says, “By faith we understand that the universe was framed by the word of God so that things that are seen were not made out of things that were visible.” There is a framing. The word of God frames things, in our natural world, that we don’t even see that happening yet. Those things in the natural world are framed, first, in the spiritual. The word of God does that. The word of God, that God spoke out. In the creation of the world. When he, when he created the planets. The word that he spoke, when he spoke Jesus into being. The word that he spoke, when you were created in your mother’s womb. As He knit you … In the Psalms, he says, “He knit you together in your mother’s womb.”

Carlie:
He predestined you. The word that he spoke when he says that all of your days are numbered. All the hairs of your head are numbered. I predestined you for success. I’ve adopted you into my family. [crosstalk 00:07:35].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:07:36] That’s good preaching- [crosstalk 00:07:35].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:07:37] All of these promises that God has spoken has framed our world.

Ashley:
Wow!

Carlie:
That’s powerful. He framed our world with his words.

Ashley:
Wow!

Carlie:
That’s how powerful the word of God, spoken out, is. When we look at the words that we’re speaking, we need to understand that our words, just like God’s words, have power.

Ashley:
Right.

Carlie:
We were formed by words, and our words have power. Oftentimes, I think, one … We don’t see a manifestation. We don’t see the promises of God manifest in our life, is because like you’re saying, we dig up the seed. Well, what does that mean? How do we dig up the seed?

Ashley:
Well, often when- [crosstalk 00:08:15].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:08:15] What does that mean? [crosstalk 00:08:15].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:08:15] We say things like, “It’s not working” or “This isn’t working” or “This doesn’t work”. I see this a lot. One good example of this is in provision in the area of finances. I see people, a lot of the time, and they’re sowing and they’re waiting to see the harvest. They’re believing God. They’re steward in their finances. They’re putting their hands on something working. If they don’t see that natural increase right away, they’ll say things like, “This isn’t working”, “That giving and receiving doesn’t work”, or “I’m trying, but it’s not … I’m never getting ahead”. They’ll start speaking negatively. “I’m never going to get good break. I’m never going to get ahead, financially.”

Ashley:
You’re actually putting words out there, and framing your world, but framing it in a negative way.

Carlie:
Right.

Ashley:
Say, “We’re going to run out of money- [crosstalk 00:08:51].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:08:51] Your words are still creating something. [crosstalk 00:00:08:53].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:08:53] Yep, but they’re creating negative things. [crosstalk 00:08:54].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:08:55] -a mess. They’re creating a mess. [crosstalk 00:08:55].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:08:55] They’re creating negative things, now. “I’m never going to get ahead. Prices keep going up.” You know, “The economy is going down”, you know, that type of thing. “I never get promoted” and things like that. They’re actually creating a negative world.

Ashley:
Whereas, people that believe the promises of God, and start saying, “I thank you, Lord, that everything I touch prospers”, and “I thank you, Lord, that as I sow, I’m going to reep”.

Ashley:
“You’re going to increase the seed I’ve sown. I thank you, Lord, that you are blessing my store houses. I thank you Lord, your blessing the works in my hand. I thank God I’m blessed and I’m going to be a blessing,” and start speaking those things. “I thank you, Lord, promotion comes from You.” It’s amazing, as you speak those things out, they come to pass.

Carlie:
They do.

Ashley:
It’s not a magic formula. It’s not a superstitious thing, or anything. I know some people take the word “confession” to extremes. This is one reason why a lot of people, a lot of Christians, just don’t think about confession, anymore. Because they think, “Oh, well, that’s all that ‘name it, claim it, lab it, grab it’ stuff.” They start to … and that’s true. It went to extremes.

Ashley:
You know, I’ve been places where people say, “Oh, my feet are killing me.” “Oh, don’t say that.” You know, [crosstalk 00:09:50].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:09:51] The confession police. [crosstalk 00:09:51].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:09:51] My back’s killing me- [crosstalk 00:09:51].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:09:51]-are after you.

Ashley:
Yeah. Or, “It’s going to rain outside.” “Don’t speak it out.” And all stuff like that. We’re not talking about this flaky stuff that some people got into. You know, “I want a new wife, so, I’m just going to confess this new wife” or “I want a new car, so I’m just going to confess this new car.” We’re not talking about that. I’ve been there. I made some of those mistakes. [crosstalk 00:00:10:07].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:10:10] Where yo- [crosstalk 00:10:06].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:10:10] -the car one. [crosstalk 00:10:07].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:10:10] Where you tried to manipulate the situation with your words. [crosstalk 00:10:09].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:10:10] We’re trying to manipulate the situation. Trying to make it happen by speaking it out, and keep speaking it.

Ashley:
We’re not talking about that. We’re talking about believing. We’re talking about the promises of God, and we’re talking about confessing those things that you want to see. When you do that, it’s powerful, because your words being spoken, just like Jesus, just as God created the world through Jesus, he created it by the spoken word. He said, “Light, let there be.” and there was. We can speak things out, and start thanking God for things before we see them.

Carlie:
Right.

Ashley:
The truth is we already have them in the spirit. We already have them in the spiritual world, and the way that we see them in the natural world is by our words: by faith. That’s the bridge between the spiritual world and the natural world.

Ashley:
In the spirit, if you’re born again, you’re already righteous. You’re already healed. You’re already prosperous. But, what you want to do is speak it out, and start confessing those things that you want to see, so that you’ll see them in the natural.

Ashley:
You can either say what you see, or you can start saying what you want to see. When you start saying what you want to see, you will see those things happen. I’ve seen this happen in their own lives so many times. A good example of this, in scripture, is Jesus feeding the 5,000.

Carlie:
Oh, I’m just about to go there.

Ashley:
Look at that.

Carlie:
Should we take a look at it?

Ashley:
I didn’t even know that. You can look it up. The feeding of the 5,000, Jesus, in a situation of extreme lack, in a situation where he was in trouble, if you like, they had 5,000 hungry men, that- [crosstalk 00:11:26].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:11:27] Let’s read it. [crosstalk 00:11:26].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:11:27] -that haven’t eaten.

Carlie:
Yeah, I think it’d be … I think it’s really valuable to go through, this is a great example. This is in … I’m going to read it in John 6, because I like how John writes. He gives a little bit more detailed to it. He says, in John 6, “So there they are …” They’re all gathered. Phillip, actually, in verse 7 said, “Phillip answered him and said 200 denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for each of them to receive but a little.” They were trying to come up with a plan of how they were going to solve this problem of lack. They had a big lack-problem. They had all these people to feed, thousands of people, it was late. They couldn’t just pop down Walmart, or you know, call Uber Eats or whatever it was.

Ashley:
Right.

Carlie:
Right? They didn’t know what to do. Even if they had the money, they didn’t have a store to go to.

Ashley:
Right.

Carlie:
It was a long ways out. What Phillip is doing here, when Jesus says, you know, “You feed them,” is, he’s saying, well, we don’t have enough. We have a lack. We have a little, and it’s not enough. One of his disciples, Andrew Simon, Peter’s brother said to him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two small fish. But what are these among so many?” Oftentimes, I think, we do the same thing. We see a problem. We see the provision. And, we just think, well that’s not enough.

Ashley:
Right.

Carlie:
And we’re actually cursing the seed.

Ashley:
Because the seed, the promise of God in seed form, doesn’t look like enough. A promise [crosstalk 00:12:42].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:12:43] Doesn’t look like a tree when it’s a seed, does it? [crosstalk 00:12:44].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:12:43] The promise of God is in seed form. The word of God is in seed. It’s seed form: whatever you’re believing for. It doesn’t look like it’s enough. The danger is, you’re saying, “Well, that’s not enough,” and you’re cursing the seed. Rather than planting the seed, you’re cursing the seed.

Ashley:
In this case, we’re talking about provision, and Jesus is about to feed these people here. That’s like he had a $200,000 debt and someone said, “Well, there’s a boy here, and he’s got $5.” How many of us would say that’s not enough? [crosstalk 00:13:09].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:13:09] That’s not even going to make a dent in that.

Ashley:
Get away from me with your $5. Tell someone to get away from me with your few loaves and few fishes. That’s not enough.

Carlie:
Look at Jesus’s response. You see, when we see the lack, Jesus says, “This is an opportunity.”

Ashley:
Come on.

Carlie:
This is an opportunity. Jesus says, “Make the people sit down. Now, there was much grass in the place, and the men sat down, numbering about 5,000,” and that’s not talking about women and children that were there. Okay? There would be more than that. “Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them.

Ashley:
That’s huge.

Carlie:
He gave thanks. You know, this process of confession, creation and manifestation works in everything that we’re talking about here. Every example you can see through the scriptures. Rather than cursing the seed, what Jesus did was, he confessed. He gave thanks. He started to verbalize his thanks for what everyone else could see was clearly not enough.

Ashley:
That’s right.

Carlie:
But that power that was released in his prayer, it started that creation process. It got that ball rolling.

Ashley:
Right.

Carlie:
Look what happened. He distributed them to the disciples. Jesus saw the abundance where the other people saw lack.

Ashley:
Come on.

Carlie:
He sees things a little bit differently.

Ashley:
Right.

Carlie:
We need to get heaven’s perspective on our situation- [crosstalk 00:14:18].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:14:18] Amen.

Carlie:
That’s a whole nother sermon. But anyway. “He distributed the fish, as much as they wanted.” Man, this is an abundance to the extreme. Because, what we do when we have lack, is we say, “Well, hang on a second, there’s not going to be enough food-” [crosstalk 00:14:32].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:14:33] Now, how much do we get by with?- [crosstalk 00:14:33].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:14:33] -just one sandwich each- [crosstalk 00:14:34].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:14:34] How can we get by with- [crosstalk 00:14:35].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:14:35] Right? [crosstalk 00:14:35].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:14:35] -just enough- [crosstalk 00:14:36].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:14:36] Cut them up.

Ashley:
That’s what we’re talking about, right? We could go into town and get just enough food for them to just have a little bit. But now, they’re talking about they all ate until they were filled.

Carlie:
This is a whole nother level.

Ashley:
Hungry men. Five thousand hungry fishermen all ate until they were filled. And not only until they were filled, this is the original all-you-can-eat buffet.

Carlie:
Yep.

Ashley:
Yeah. They didn’t have all-you-can-eat buffets in England,, when we left England, 10 years ago. I came over here to America- [crosstalk 00:14:56].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:14:56] Oh, my goodness. [crosstalk 00:00:14:57].

Ashley:
When I found out there was an all-you-can-eat buffet, it was like I’d gone to heaven. I said, “You’re telling me I can eat all I can eat?” They said, “You can eat all you can eat.”

Carlie:
At that point, he could start taking the whole tomatoes out of his pockets. [crosstalk 00:00:15:09].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:15:09] I- [crosstalk 00:15:09].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:15:09] Because he didn’t need to save space in the bowl. [crosstalk 00:15:11].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:15:11] Everything, I ate- [crosstalk 00:15:11].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:15:11] -you could go back again.

Ashley:
I ate all that I could. I ate nine plates. I remember the first plate, the guy went to take my plate, I said, “Hold on, big boy.” I said, “This plate is going to see some miles.” He said, “No, no. You go and get a new plate.”

Carlie:
A new plate?

Ashley:
“Every time you get up to the line, you get a new plate. [crosstalk 00:15:22].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:15:22] New way of thinking? A new plate? [crosstalk 00:15:23].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:15:23] Nine plates later, I felt pretty bad. I’ve calmed down now, but, originally, I was like, “If you see all-You-can-eat- [crosstalk 00:15:29].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:15:30] You’d better where your big boy pants- [crosstalk 00:15:31].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:15:31] Get your money’s worth.

Ashley:
Right?

Carlie:
Eat all you can eat.

Ashley:
Get prepared to receive. [crosstalk 00:15:32].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:15:34] Anyway. These men ate all they could eat, and there were filled.

Ashley:
Yeah- [crosstalk 00:15:36].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:15:37] -and there was leftovers.

Carlie:
Even more than that. He said, “Give them as much as they want.” Not even as much as you need. You see, God wants to supply our wants, not just our needs.

Ashley:
Amen.

Carlie:
Man, this is like thinking about a whole nother level. When God, when Jesus bless and gave thanks for that seemingly small seed, the miracle of multiplication had started in the creation phase. He was even speaking out here. He says, “Give them as much as they want.” You see, he wasn’t saying, “Whoa, easy guys, easy guys- [crosstalk 00:16:10].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:16:10] Just get a little, tiny bit- [crosstalk 00:16:11].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:16:12] Just hand them out: a little wafer for you, a little bit of bread for you, a little flake of fish for you. And then when everyone’s fed, we’ll go around and I’ll give them seconds.” No. He said, “No, there’s going to be more than enough.”

Ashley:
Come on.

Carlie:
You see, our God is super abundant, excessive. He’s limitless. The only limits of heaven’s resources, are how big our heart is to receive them. They’re limitless in their resources. But how much in our heart can we receive them? How are we prepared to receive?

Carlie:
Sometimes, I think, we actually limit a manifestation of God, because we don’t build room in our heart, capacity enough, to receive it.

Ashley:
Wow! That’s good.

Carlie:
You know, we need to have capacity to receive the blessings of God in our life. There are many examples of this through the scriptures. The woman with the jar of oil, putting the oil pots out. The guys, when they went fishing, they only put down one net instead of multiple nets.

Ashley:
Right.

Carlie:
We limit the receiving. Everything has God has for us. We limit the manifestation of God’s promises in our life, because we fail to stretch out our tent pegs wide enough to receive everything that heaven wants us to contain.

Ashley:
Think of Psalm 78, talks about they limited the Holy one of Israel. You know, going back to the feeding of the 5,000, just a few other points. You’re talking about confession is that when Jesus took those loaves and fish … Again, we’re talking about the equivalent of having $5, we have a $200,000 bill to pay. I mean, we’re talking about 5,000 men, and just a few loaves and few fish. A few important things. One is, they could have eaten. The disciples and Jesus were hungry, themselves. In fact, Jesus had been fasting. They were hungry, themselves. They could have eaten the boys lunch. They could have eaten and filled themselves. The disciples could’ve said, “Hey, come here. Shh!” And, go around the corner, and eaten that lunch for themselves. They would have eaten the seed.

Carlie:
Right.

Ashley:
You know, in 2 Corinthians 9 and 10, it talks about God gives seed to the sower and bread to eat. Sometimes we get confused in this area, and we end up serving our bread, which was just raw, or eating our seed, which will leave us hungry again. Now, if you one of these health people and you like eating seeds [crosstalk 00:18:08].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:18:09] The bird seed. [crosstalk 00:18:09].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:18:09] -that’s fine. You can eat seeds, but it’s not going to fulfill you. You need to sow seed and you need to eat bread. They could have eaten the seed there.

Ashley:
The second thing is, when Jesus took those loaves and fish, it says, He looked up into heaven,” and in, I think it’s Luke’s version, Luke 9:16, it said, “And looking up to heaven,” if you study this out, it means looking into the spirit. It means looking into the spiritual realm. It means looking into God’s economy. Not just looking at the world’s economy. So many times, whatever the issue you are looking at, whatever the challenge you’re facing, whatever the thing you’re looking at, trying to get victory over, look into the kingdom rather than looking into the world. If you look at the world’s way, you’re going to see limit. If you look in the kingdom’s way, like Carlie said, it’s limitless. God’s provision is limitless.

Ashley:
Philippians 4:19, Paul says, “My God’s going to supply your needs according to his riches and glory.” According to heavens riches, according to the kingdom’s riches. Jesus looked into the spirit. It says he looked into the spirit realm. He looked through the natural circumstances and looked into the spirit, and he knew, in the kingdom of God, there’s no limit. [crosstalk 00:19:10].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:19:11] That’s right.

Ashley:
This is limitless. That’s what he did to the seed. He took the seed, he blessed it. He blessed the seed. He gave thanks for the seed. We need to start giving thanks for God’s promises. We need to start giving thanks for the seeds God’s given us. If it’s in the area of provision, what you’re looking at … If what you’ve got isn’t enough, then, maybe you’re looking at your seed, rather than your harvest. You need to start giving thanks for that seed. Start saying, “God, thank you for this seed.”, Start looking into the spirit realm and start sowing that seed so you can see the increase. Amen.

Carlie:
This is so important, because, I think, in our world, we tend to see things as the glass is half empty, rather than the glass half full. We can kind of get negative, just like the disciples here thinking, “Well, this isn’t enough.”

Ashley:
It’s not even half full.

Carlie:
It’s not even half full. [crosstalk 00:19:51].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:19:51] The glass is overflowing. Praise God. [crosstalk 00:19:52].

Carlie:
Amen. Right. I’ve seen this in healing ministry, as well. I remember one time, particularly, when a man came to ministry, and he said to me, “I want you to pray for my arm,” he was paralyzed in his arm. I asked him what he was believing for, and he said, “Well, I just want to be healed, don’t I?” I said, “Well, how do you imagine that that’s going to happen? What do you have to say about this situation?” He didn’t really know.

Carlie:
I said, “Well, let me help you with this. Let me speak out what’s going to happen, and you tell me if you agree with it.” I said, “I’m going to pray for you. The power of God is going to be released through my words. It’s going to go, effectively, into your arm, where the cells are going to knit together. The nerves are going to come back to life. You’re going to have strength in the joint. The inflammation and the pain are going to leave. You’re going to have full mobility and use of your arm, as you did the day you were born.”

Carlie:
He said, “I like what you just said.” I said, “Well then, we’ve spoken it. Let’s agree.” We prayed for him. His arm started to get some strength back in it. He started to be able to life it up here- [crosstalk 00:20:54].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:20:54] For the first time ever, he lifted his arm up- [crosstalk 00:20:55].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:20:54] He started to lift up here- [crosstalk 00:20:57].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:20:57] -two years, he had an accident.

Carlie:
Well, this is a different guy, but he started to lift his arm up to here. He started to get some mobility he showed was completely frozen. But then, I could see his face was a little bit disappointed, because it was almost like, “Well, it’s not all the way better, is it? It’s not all the way better- [crosstalk 00:21:13].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:21:13] He was looking at the glass half empty.

Carlie:
Exactly.

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:21:16] Instead of the glass half full.

Carlie:
Exactly. I said, “Well, hang on a second. You know what? We’re going to pray again. Sometimes Jesus prayed, twice. That’s okay. We’re going to do that. We don’t have to … What we’re going to do is, we’re going to give thanks for the power of God that’s working in your body right now. Rather than saying, ‘Oh, I’m going to be disappointed. Oh well, I guess it’s a little bit better. I’m just going to have to live with the rest of the pain.'” That’s what people will do.

Ashley:
Oh, It didn’t work? [crosstalk 00:21:41].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:21:40] No, it didn’t work. [crosstalk 00:21:42].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:21:40] The guy I prayed for also had an arm issue. He had an accident. [crosstalk 00:21:42].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:21:43] -A similar issue.

Ashley:
Actually, someone around him said to him, “See, I told you it wouldn’t work.” Even though he’d started to lift it, he was 10% healed. If he’d given thanks for that 10%, I believe he would have seen the rest of his healing.

Carlie:
Yeah, well that’s what happened to the other gentleman. As we started to pray again, he started to get excited. Because, we’d shifted his focus from thinking of what he hadn’t got, to giving thanks to what he had received: that the power of God was working, effectively, in his body.

Carlie:
You know, the power of God is working effectively in your body today. He doesn’t just quit. Right? It’s working effectively in your body, in areas that you cannot see. As the power God started working in his body, and we started giving thanks, just like Jesus did here with the loaves and fishes, that power of God continued to work in his body, rather than shutting it down through our unbelief in disappointment. Within within a couple of minutes, he had the complete restoration of his arm and his shoulder. He was able to wave his arm in the air.

Ashley:
Awesome!

Carlie:
He was so excited. He hadn’t been able to do that in years.

Ashley:
Awesome!

Carlie:
That was a really important step that we took there. To take a minute, just take a minute. This is for somebody today. Take a minute to give thanks for every good thing that you have going on in your life.

Ashley:
Amen.

Carlie:
Philemon 1:6 says, “Our faith becomes effective by the acknowledgement of every good thing that is in us, in Christ Jesus.” And you see if we’re in that place of frustration, where maybe we started out in faith and we kind of got disappointed, because our miracle didn’t manifest when we wanted it to. Right? We can start getting negative without even really knowing it. We can start looking at everything that’s wrong. Really, what we’re doing in that sense, is we’re digging up the seed. We are digging out the seeds that we started out by planting. We’re aborting our manifestation in the middle of the creation phase.

Carlie:
Remember, just hold on. When we start giving thanks for what God is doing, it causes our faith to become effective, and we start to to run headlong into seeing the full manifestation on the promises of God that Jesus wanted for us all along.

Ashley:
It’s almost like we plant the seed and then thankfulness is like the watering of that seed. It’s [crosstalk 00:23:49]

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:23:49] Exactly.

Ashley:
It’s like watering that seed. [crosstalk 00:23:50].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:23:50] Exactly. [crosstalk 00:23:50].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:23:50] -and when we’re thankful, we start thanking God. Jesus said, “When you pray, like this way, pray like you’ve already received it.” Mark 11, “When you pray, pray like you’ve already received it.” Because, the truth is, in the spirit, you have. Jesus already provided it.

Ashley:
When you plant that seed, you take a promise from God’s word. You plant that seed. The seed is incorruptible. The seed is always going to work, but we need to water it. We need to make sure we’re not digging out their words. We need to speak life over that seed. When need to start giving thanks to God for that. We want to start seeing what it’s going to look like when we see it manifest. We’re going to start seeing that. Visualize it. Start using our imagination in a positive way, rather than a negative way. It’s amazing how you can see the full manifestation of these promises come to pass in your life.

Ashley:
It doesn’t happen, automatically. God’s will is for you to be saved. God’s will is for you to be healed, and to be prosperous and to be at peace and to do all these things. That’s his will for you, but it doesn’t come about, automatically. We have to choose to receive those gifts that he’s given us. We have to choose to receive those promises before we see the victory in our life, everyday.

Carlie:
Amen.

Carlie:
You know, Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction.” It’s the word of God that Springs forth life on the inside. It’s healthful. All our flesh is health to all of our bones. It delivers us from destruction, [crosstalk 00:25:05].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:25:06] Amen.

Carlie:
-from poverty.

Ashley:
Amen.

Carlie:
You know, the Psalms is full of such wisdom. In Psalm 103 (let me just flick on over here)-

Ashley:
It says, “The word of God planted in our heart is the seed. [crosstalk 00:25:14].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:25:14]Yeah.

Ashley:
Praise God. As we water it, we’ll see that seed grow into fruition. Just don’t dig out that see with unbelief and doubt. Amen.

Carlie:
Absolutely! The words of your mouth are so powerful. I’m going to leave you with this here. This is Psalm 103. It says … This is David. David knew when he wrote this Psalm, he knew what adversi-, adversi-, adversaries? …

Ashley:
Adversaries.

Carlie:
Adversity. He knew what adversity was. [crosstalk 00:25:38].

Ashley:
[crosstalk 00:25:38] Enemies. Challenges.

Carlie:
Yes. He knew what it was to have a challenge. He knew what it was to have an enemy. He’d fought enough battles. He says, “Bless the Lord. O my soul. And all that is within me. Bless his Holy name. Bless the Lord. Oh my soul.” He’s almost brainwashing himself.

Ashley:
He’s telling himself what to do. [Crosstalk 00:25:53].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:25:55] He is. He says, “Forget not, all his benefits. Who forgives all of your iniquities. Who heals all of your diseases and redeems your life from the pit. Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies and satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the Eagles.”

Carlie:
We need to spend a little more time blessing the Lord, and forget not all of his benefits, because he has good things for us today. Amen?

Ashley:
Amen. That’s the truth. Amen. [crosstalk 00:26:17].

Carlie:
[crosstalk 00:26:17] Let’s pray for people. [crosstalk 00:26:17].

Ashley:
Isn’t that powerful? Praise God. We’re out of time. We’re going to pray for you before we leave you.

Ashley:
Father, God, I thank you for everyone watching today. I thank you, Lord, that you’ve given them the victory. I thank you, Lord, they’re seeing those seeds grow into fruition. I thank you, Lord, they’re seeing the promises of God come to pass, in their life. I thank you, Lord, you’re helping us confess and give thanks for those things. And, I thank you, Lord, we are going to see these things come to pass. In Jesus’ name.

Carlie:
Amen.

Ashley:
Amen?

Carlie:
Amen.

Ashley:
Praise God!

Carlie:
That’s good.

Ashley:

Because, honestly, they are doing what the gospel says that we’re supposed to do. You know, they are changing lives. They are preaching the gospel. They are are healing the sick, raising the dead, and they are bringing freedom to Christians, and people that are in bondage, too. That’s why they should support Ashley and Carlie, because they’re changing the world.

Ashley:
Our words can block the blessings of God in our life, if we choose to. But if we don’t, if we actually accept these blessings, and say yes, then these blessings, they’re commanded blessings. They can’t be reversed, like Carlie said. God has commanded a blessing on you, wherever you are, as a born again believer, as a child of God, God has commanded a blessing on you.
